Del Mar Photonics offer new
plasmonic nano-materials for Raman spectroscopy for
security and sensing applications
New enhancing plasmonic nano-materials for Single Molecule Raman spectroscopy (SMRS)
have high reproducibility, stability and durability. SMRS substrates allow trace
detection of explosives with sensitivity down to single molecules. Plasmonic
nano-materials are characterized using
HeroN AFM -
NanoRaman System system
April 8, 2009: Opto-mechanical design and fabrication
Del Mar Photonics collaborate with Quartus Engineering team to offer full service in opto-mechanical design and fabrication. Many opto-mechanical systems required to meet tight optical spacing, tip/tilt, and centration specs to achieve system boresight and beam/image quality. Active systems incorporate the focus, pointing, etc. adjustments at the resolution and accuracy required of the deployed system. Structural and thermal analyses allows to verify mechanical integrity and performance under aggressive conditions, including high g-loading, severe vibrations, extreme temperature variations typical of military aerospace platforms, including directed energy weapons, laser rangefinder/designator/illuminator, communications, and high resolution surveillance systems. April 6, 2009: Compact pulsed Nd:YAG lasers Del Mar Photonics offers
pulsed Nd:YAG lasers with excellent beam quality, high energy/efficiency
and possibility of efficient pulse rep rate changes with no significant
degradation of the beam parameters. |
April 6, 2009: Hydrogen Thyratrons
Hydrogen Thyratrons are used in such devices as radars with different
power levels, high-power pulsed lasers and many others. Sophisticated design
and high quality ceramic-metal envelope determines long lifetime and very
accurate and reliable operation of thyratrons under wide range of
environmental conditions. |
March 25, 2009: JAWS multi-terawatt Cr:forsterite laser JAWS is a terawatt femtosecond chromium-doped forsterite (Cr4+:Mg2SiO4)
laser system, based on an oscillator, regenerative amplifier and four stages
of multi-pass amplifiers. The system can generate 80 fs pulses at 1240 nm
wavelength, with pulse energies of 85 mJ giving a peak power range of 1-2 TW
at 10 Hz and is assembled on a single 1.2×3.0 m optical table. Cr:forsterite
is directly pumped at 1064 nm removing the need for more expensive green
pump lasers. Fundamental, 2nd and 3rd harmonics of Cr:F laser are convenient
for a number of applications in time-resolved spectroscopy,
telecommunications, photochemistry, photobiology, plasma physics, VUV, x-ray
generation, and material processing. Wavelength range is also well outside
the visible and shows significantly less pulse broadening in atmosphere than
800 nm. |

picker system comprises of a control and power supply unit (CPSU) and a
Pockels cell with a HV driver. |
February 17, 2009: Ultrafast lasers portfolio Del Mar Photonics
offers industry's most extensive
portfolio of ultrafast lasers |
