In looking at your website, I was interested in your Reef-SS-20 autocorrelator. I need to measure amplified pulses down around 30fs at 800nm. What resolution does the device have (fs/pix)? What is the input beam diameter?
The resolution is about 4fs/pix. For a 30-fs pulse the beam diameter (1/e2, horizontal beam dimension is of most importance) should not be less than 1 mm. For the longest (200-fs) pulses of the device's range the diameter (1/e2, horizontal beam dimension is of most importance) should not be less than ~15 mm. Generally, the longer the pulse the wider the horizontal dimension should be. It is ok to telescope the beam if necessary.
